ACMO Sync Client installation and upgrade
This page describes how to install, verify, upgrade, and uninstall the ACMO Sync Client on Microsoft Windows. Packaging for macOS and Linux will be added when those distributions are available.

First launch behaviour
When the Sync Client is launched for the first time:
- No environments are configured.
- The Environments page shows an empty list and prompts you to add the first environment.
- Other environment-specific pages (Overview, Connections, Service) remain empty until an environment is created and connected.
Before defining any connections, you must first configure at least one environment.
See Environments for details.
Upgrading the Sync Client
When a new version is released:
-
Obtain the latest installer or initiate the update from the Microsoft Store, depending on how the application was originally installed.

If required, arrange a maintenance window to avoid interrupting active uploads or downloads.

ACMO Sync Client Service. - Select “Stop”.
